Hi, I’m Katherin

I’m a wife, a mother of two, and the founder of The Key Organizer.

Long before organizing became my profession, it was simply part of who I was.

Today, I have the privilege of helping families create homes that feel lighter, calmer, and easier to live in—but the truth is, what I love most is the people behind every space.

Every family has different routines.

Different challenges.

Different stories.

That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.

I believe your home should be designed around the way you live.

And if you’re wondering how this passion turned into a business…

I’d love to tell you where it all began.

The beginning

Let me take you back to where it all began.

I was born and raised in Venezuela, where my love for organization started long before I knew it could become a career.

As a little girl, I organized everything I could get my hands on—from color-coding my clothes to labeling shoe boxes and constantly rearranging my room just for fun. My friends quickly learned that if they needed help organizing before going out, I was the first person they’d call.

At the time, I had no idea those little moments were shaping the work I do today.

After studying Advertising, I lived in Peru and Chile before moving to the United States in February 2020 in search of new opportunities and a fresh start.

Like many immigrants, I arrived with big dreams, a lot of uncertainty, and the determination to build something meaningful.

During the pandemic, I began helping my family organize their homes. One day, my cousin looked at me and said,
“Key Organizer, help me!”

We all laughed, but something about it stayed with me.

Not only did it perfectly describe what I wanted to do, but “Key” is also my middle name.

At that moment, I knew I had found the name of my business.

The Process

Once I had a name, I knew I had to build something worthy of it.

I immersed myself in creating my brand—from designing my logo and building my website to launching my Instagram page and sharing my very first organizing projects.

Soon after, I got my first client: a wonderful woman who had recently moved from California to Raleigh.

I’ll be honest… I was terrified.

English is not my first language, and I remember worrying about every conversation. But from the moment I walked into her home, she made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported.

That experience reminded me that kindness speaks every language.

It also confirmed something I had been feeling all along:

This was exactly what I was meant to do.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping families through so many different seasons of life—welcoming a new baby, moving into a new home, downsizing, navigating busy family routines, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the everyday.

Every home tells a different story.

And being invited into those stories is something I never take for granted.

The Goal

My vision has never been about creating beautiful spaces just for the sake of appearance.

It’s about creating homes that make everyday life easier.

I believe an organized home gives you something far more valuable than tidy shelves—it gives you time, clarity, and the freedom to focus on what matters most.

That’s why every project is thoughtfully designed around the way you live.

Not just to make your home look beautiful…

But to make it function beautifully.

Today, my mission is to help families create spaces that support their routines, reduce everyday stress, and bring a sense of calm to daily life.

Because when your home works for you, everything else begins to feel a little lighter.
